This page was created in order to test support for different encodings that allows to present Cyrillic correctly. The main purpose is to find out how well a browser can output Russian text. A page with text as a single picture is provided for comparison. Do not expect them to look identically, since fonts installed on your computer may vary from the ones on mine at the time that the image was created; only the text itself should be the same and not the way letters appear. A transliterated version is given as well, however, because of the existence of many transliteration standards this variant may differ from automatically re-encoded ones. All the pages are made in two versions - with and without meta tags that set an encoding. The navigation is done with graphic buttons, thus only Cyrillic is used in this text.
