If you, like me, use english version of MS Windows NT 4.0,
or something similar to that, then it's rather possible that not all you font would support russian (or cyrillic) alphabet,
in addition to that some of them would work perfectly fine in programs like MS Word, Excel or Outlook, but
in the same time they would be absolutely broken in PhotoShop, ImageReady and HomeSite, yet some other ones looks just right.
Below I'm offering you to look at the table that displays where and which fonts (out of 600 that installed on my system)
one can use for russian text.
In addition I have created a verdana-like ttf font that would work everywhere — Verdimka
